3. What makes mom sad? Dirty house and bad kids.
4. How does mom make you laugh? She plays tricks on me.
5. What was mom like as a child? Poor. (haha)
6. How old is your mom? 30
7. How tall is your mom? 4 ft 11 in
8. What is your mommy's favorite thing to do? Play on the computer all day.
9. What does your mom do when your not around? Kiss dad all day.
10. If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for? A movie star voice, when you're in a movie and talk instead of act. (???? whatever!)
11. What is your mom really good at? Playing cards.
12. What is your mom not really good at? Driving. (That was encouraged by his father!)
13. What does your mom do for her job? New Haven worker, watch girls at night. Photos, orthodontist party planner.
14. What is your mom's favorite food? Mexican food.
15. What makes you proud of your mom? Because I always come home from school to a clean house and brothers asleep.
16. If your mom were a cartoon character who whould she be? Wilma Flintstone
17. What do you and your mom do together? Play cards.
18. How are you and your mom the same? We look the same. When she was a kid she looked just like me.
19. How are you and your mom different? She likes staying inside. I like playing outside.
20. How do you know your mom loves you? When I'm sick, she always makes me a bed.

It's 1:00 in the morning and I'm just sitting here talking to Angie (Warner, no not myself!) about how excited I am for my birthday this year! We're going to Les Miserables at Tuacahn on my birthday. I've always wanted to see it. Everyone says it's fabulous! And, I have to admit... I'm equally excited about shopping at the outlets! The Children's Place down there is way better than up here!

Well, if you know me... you know that I like to play the slot machines too. So, mmm... how can I fit in a night in Mesquite too? We have a favorite slot machine at the Casa Blanca, "The Bear". Okay, it's really a lion... but we thought it was a bear at first, so that's what we called it. Anyway, it's been really lucky. I'm addicted. I have to at least try!

My Poor Baby

Tonight Mike and I decided to go out on a date. So, Uncle Stevie... our favorite babysitter, came up to watch the kids. Well, half-way through dinner we got the news that Tate had wiped out on his bike. Minutes later we were emailed a picture of his injuries and we quickly hurried home. I just want to cry everytime I look at my little baby boy! Look how sad! Poor little thing!

Nauvoo May 30-June 6th, 2008

So, I've been asked by several of my blog buddies, "Where are your photos from Nauvoo???" So, here are some. I will try to do some slide shows of the fun things I saw. But, for now... the most important events!

The Temple

Meeting Elder Jeffery Holland at the Liberty Jail!

Seeing my Aunt Ina Lee for the first time in 18 months! She and her husband Jerry are serving a mission at Liberty Jail and the Visitor's Center in Independence. They showed us many sites in the area. It was exciting seeing my grandma reunite with her sister!

Me and Grandma Cleo visiting a museum that showcased all the artifacts from a boat that wrecked and sunk in the 1850's. It was discovered about 15 years ago. They have been digging up all the cargo on it. Because there was no oxygen underground, everything preserved quite well. There was dishes, tools, perfume, food and so much more! It was so interesting! They are still cleaning things that they have found from this riverboat!

We had lunch at Far West. We saw the cornerstones that were laid many years ago under the direction of Joseph Smith. It was a very peaceful place.

All of us at Adam-Ondi-Ahman. This is one of my favorite places. It is amazing! The Spirit is so strong here!

Kim-cousin, Beverly-Great Aunt, Jerry-Great Uncle, Ina Lee-Great Aunt, Cleo-My Grandma, Me, Aimee-Cousin and Kathy-Cousin. I'm assuming Jenny, my Great Aunt is taking the picture and Ginger (her sister) is MIA!

This photo was taken on a rock that it is recorded that Joseph would stand on to preach to the church members. It is in Adam-Ondi-Ahman. Of course, I can't remember the name of it now. But, it was neat to think that we were standing somewhere the prophet had preached from!

Carthage Jail

Absolultely amazing! While in there the sister missionary asked us to sing "Praise to the Man.". I was in awe! The Spirit was stronger than I had ever felt before! It truly is a special place.

"The Hart House"

The home that we stayed in. It was the cutest home ever! I wanted to live there forever! The view... the temple. See the next picture of me and Granmda Cleo taken from the front porch.

Me and Granmda Cleo headed to the temple. Grandma did her endowments while we were there. A wonderful experience. I'm so happy for my grandma! She is the neatest, sweetest person I know. I love her so much!



We enjoyed spending the days discovering history from long ago, the nights staying up playing games and late night chats with each other. We also took in incredible thunder and lightning storms every night! A few tornado watches... but we were safe! We had a wonderful time and I hope that we will do it again! To all my cousins, aunts and of course Grandma Cleo... I love you! I will forever treasure our vacation together and the bonds we have made!
