It's also Steve's Birthday!

Yes, we got married on Steve's Birthday! But, what would Mike and I be without Steve? Bored! We couldn't raise our kids without Uncle Steve. He helps us so much! Always tending and helping out. Our kids idolize him! But who wouldn't love an Uncle that buys you a prize everytime he comes to visit? Where was my uncle like that? Happy Birthday Stevie-Wonder-Bread! We Love you!

Happy Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary Mikey! Today is our 12th anniversary. Yes, we were married on leap day! February 29th, 1996. It was very cold day, unlike today! We had a wonderful ceremony early in the morning in the Manti Temple. We then had a luncheon at the Bella Via in Spanish Fork. We were honored with the presence of many family members and friends! Afterwards, the reception and all that good stuff. It was a wonderful day! Thanks to our mothers for planning a beautiful wedding for us! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY HONEY! I love you more than anything!

Love Ya!

Las Vegas Trip

Nothing new here... the Clayson's got AnOtHeR TRAILER! Mike can't pass up a good deal! So, we sold our other two trailers and this is our latest one, that Mike promises he'll be sleeping in on the deer hunt in October! We'll see! I have to admit that I like this one better than any of our others. It's really nice inside and out. Although, I can't find the photos Mike took of the inside. So, I'll have to show that part later. The best part of getting the trailer was the good excuse to go to Las Vegas! Rick and Annette came with me, Mike and Steve. We had fun getting away for a minute and playing the slots!

Forgetting to buy Valentines!

So, like usual I'm cruising through life at 100 mph and I forgot to buy Valentine's. So, we did a crash Valentine photo for a card. But, I think that they turned out pretty cute. Of course, they are MY sons! Brock was beinga silly little ham! It was so funny!

The Best Thing Ever... you should try it!

I'm not talking about a recipe or this dish of food. But, I'm talking about Dinner Groups. So, my good friend from high school asked me if I wanted to join this dinner group she's in. She's been doing it for a couple of years now and she loves it. Well, I was a little hesitant at first. I'm a lousy cook, not to mention I HATE to cook! I talked to Mike and his reaction was this, "Whatever makes you happy, dear." With a slight roll of his eyes.

Well, I started in it at the first of the year. After the first week, Mike said... "This is the best thing we ever did!" I couldn't agree more! We now have a different variety of food to eat and try and best of all, I only cook one day a week!

This is how it works. There's four families in the group. We are each assigned a day, Monday through Thursday. My day happens to be Tuesday. So, on Tuesday I cook one meal for four families. One week I did Zuchinni Casserole. I doubled the recipe, because it really makes a lot. Then I divided it into our four "half" casserole dishes that we all share. Baked it and delivered it to the other three families. I only have to do the main course. We deliver food between 5:00 and 5:30. I'm provided a menu three months at a time, so I know what's coming for dinner every night in case I want to add a side dish.

I have to say, the idea is GENIUS! I never thought I'd like it. But, now when days are going crazy... especially Wednesday when I have my little den meeting, I don't have to worry about getting dinner ready. It will arrive before 5:30. It also saves us money. Buying in bulk to cook 4 small meals is really cheaper! Anyway, I just had to share. Now, off I go to my BBQ pork chops that just arrived. Yummy!
