H-E-L-P!

We need help naming our baby girl! Of course, I already had the boy name picked out! And, I have a few names that I love... but Mike doesn't share in that love with me.

So, I'm asking your help! Leave me some suggestions, either by comment or email. I don't like common names, let me word that different. I like common names, but not for my baby. I don't want her to be know as "Ella C." or "Makayla C." or "Haylee C." in her class room. I want it to be different so there's only one of them in the school. Only because I was known as "Angie D." my whole life and even had a class in 6th grade with 5 Angies in it!

(Don't take offense, I really like those names, some of my favorites... just toooo common for me. If it's in the top 100 names of the year, I can't use it. And, I think it's been suggested to me at least a dozen times to name her Ella! (Which again, I think is darling... just so many of them out there!)

So Help! We need suggestions! Mike, there will be no paying anyone to suggest Jazzlyn! Love you babe!

SmashMouth Concert

Who is SmashMouth? Yeah, I know they're a little dated and that would explain why the concert hall that only held 1000... wasn't even sold out!

Anyway, Mike and I had the chance to go to Wendover and see SmashMouth. Our favorite, brother-in-law, brother-in-law, Troy got us free tickets. (Your wondering what a BIL, BIL is? He's my brother-in-law's brother-in-law.) We went out there for dinner and then hit the concert at 9:00 PM. While we enjoyed listening to SmashMouth shout their guts out... Steve, Ed and Troy lost all of their money gambling!

Listening to SmashMouth did bring back some memories of college days and my first married years... and strangely reminded me of my kids as I listened to two songs from our favorite show, Shrek!

Enjoy the music. I thought I'd post some music from them for a couple of weeks. I had to post the only picture we took. Sorry, Mike and I haven't mastered the technique of taking a picture of ourselves! I'll have to hit up my teenage cousins for some hints!

Brock Turns THREE!

Wow, I can't believe my baby boy is three. It seems like yesterday we were headed to the hospital to have him. We initially named him Beck. But, after bringing him home from the hospital... it just didn't seem right. So, when he was 5 days old, I called and had it changed to Brock. "Brockie" just fits him.

If you ask Brock what his name is, he will tell you "Brockie Soup". We call him that and sadly... the kid thinks that's his name!

If you ask him what his baby sister's name is going to be, he'll tell you "Jesus". He's convinced that's what we're naming her!

Brock is definitely our moodiest child. You never know what you're going to get. He can be the sweetest little boy and the next minute he'll be slamming doors and throwing fits! We've learned to laugh. He definitely keeps us entertained!

I love when I take Tate to school and Brock will lean over in his carseat and say... "Kiss goodbye?" It is sooooo sweet. He loves his brother so much.

Happy Birthday Little Soup! We love you!

Grandma Carlene's Halloween Party

The last few years my mom has had the boys over for a "Halloween Party". They have fun painting pumpkings, making carmel apples and of course drinking Witch's Brew! Of course, us gals like eating all of mom's Shrimp Dip and gabbing! The boys have so much fun with the festivities. So much... Payton chose the party over a BYU game! Wow!

HaLLoWeeN!

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! We had fun this year! The kids of course had their school festivities. Then right after school we headed to Springville to see Ape-Daddy give out candy for work! After that we went to Grandma Cleo's for soup, a tradition that we love! Next we quickly headed to the church for "Trunk-or-Treat". Which, was really fun. We got to see all our friends dressed up! Next we went to visit the Claysons and then the Dansies. We had a fun, long Halloween! Hope you did too!

What Tate thought about Halloween, half-way through it!

Brock loves this Monkey. (Prounounced: Mow-n-kee)

Everyday he asked Daddy to be the Monkey!

Grandma Cleo "tricking" Brock into eating his soup by telling him he couldn't eat her soup!

Can you say CREEPY?
