Merry Christmas!
Just wanted to wish you all Merry Christmas! It came and went so fast... I can hardly believe it. Here's a cute picture I snapped at my Grandma's house on Christmas Eve of the boys. Thank you Grandma for a wonderful dinner! More photos to come...

Clayson Family Christmas Party
We got up early and rushed home Sunday from Vegas. Mike's parents were having their annual Christmas Party that evening. Everyone came and we had a good time as usual. Although, I was so tired and still having some car sickness! Oh well, good times. You'd think I'd get used to it!
Anyway, Mike's mom usually has something up her sleeve every year. Well, this year was no different. Through the years, her kids have always joked about who's "#1" and who's "#2" and so forth. Usually #1 is Steve or Charlie the bird! At least, that's what Mike thinks.
So, this year Olive had a hat made just for Mike. It says, "Mike #1". We all got a good chuckle. I hope Charlie and Steve don't feel bad! :) Just kidding. Sorry, Mike... I know you look goofy in the pic, but the only other one that showed the #1, you were showing me a gesture that I wouldn't want any children to see! Hehe.

BYU and Las Vegas
We had to stop in St. George for the guys to eat at In and Out Burger. Of course, I dropped them off and I went to Del Taco! (I'm not a burger kind of girl.) We also had to stop at Children's Place. Sadly... I was disappointed for the first time. Usually I walk out of there with a bag I can barely hold. But... I didn't buy one thing!
We headed into Las Vegas. We stayed at the Gold Coast. We ate there and gambled a bit. The next day we spent shopping. I got lots of pink and purple! Yay! Then we went to the game. Sadly, they lost. I'm horrible luck...always!
I only won 48.00 this time... but managed to play it all and lose. Steve on the other hand had a very lucky night. Don't know how much for sure, but he was counting hundreds.
We had a great time. I'm still dang tired, but fun none the less!

FHE...The Lights!
Last week we heard that our favorite place, Jaxie's was having a hot chocolate sale. So, me... being triggered by any sale, thought it would be perfect to go down and get us some White Hot Chocolate and drive around and look at the lights for FHE. So, that's what we did. Even though the lights are just down the hill from us and we get to hear the carols playing from it every night and see them everytime we drive down the next street, my kids still get so excited to see the lights. Brockie and Tate get enthralled by them. Eyes wide and amazed. It's so fun to watch them!

Friends, Food and Fun!
For the last 9 years, our "Game Group" has had the tradition of a game night in December and a white elephant gift exchange. Of course, we've developed traditions through the years, such as the returning fruit cake and if any clothing is given... you must try it on! One poor guy gets to do it every year!
The night is a full of laughing to tears and lots of treats and goodies! I look forward to it every year, as I do every time we get together for game night. We have been blessed to have such wonderful friends! And, I've especially been blessed to have friends that will play games with me! I love games, but I also love to win! (Although, this night I wasn't so lucky!)
Until next game night! Love you guys!

Gingerbread House fun at Grandma's!
This Saturday we had a fun party at Grandma Carlene's. We made gingerbread houses. It was quite eventful at first... our houses kept falling apart. But, we finally got them to stay! The boys were pretty excited to do this with their cousins. We had fun listening to our old Christmas records and helping the boys. Thanks mom!

H-E-L-P!
We need help naming our baby girl! Of course, I already had the boy name picked out! And, I have a few names that I love... but Mike doesn't share in that love with me.
So, I'm asking your help! Leave me some suggestions, either by comment or email. I don't like common names, let me word that different. I like common names, but not for my baby. I don't want her to be know as "Ella C." or "Makayla C." or "Haylee C." in her class room. I want it to be different so there's only one of them in the school. Only because I was known as "Angie D." my whole life and even had a class in 6th grade with 5 Angies in it!
(Don't take offense, I really like those names, some of my favorites... just toooo common for me. If it's in the top 100 names of the year, I can't use it. And, I think it's been suggested to me at least a dozen times to name her Ella! (Which again, I think is darling... just so many of them out there!)
So Help! We need suggestions! Mike, there will be no paying anyone to suggest Jazzlyn! Love you babe!

SmashMouth Concert

Who is SmashMouth? Yeah, I know they're a little dated and that would explain why the concert hall that only held 1000... wasn't even sold out!
Anyway, Mike and I had the chance to go to Wendover and see SmashMouth. Our favorite, brother-in-law, brother-in-law, Troy got us free tickets. (Your wondering what a BIL, BIL is? He's my brother-in-law's brother-in-law.) We went out there for dinner and then hit the concert at 9:00 PM. While we enjoyed listening to SmashMouth shout their guts out... Steve, Ed and Troy lost all of their money gambling!
Listening to SmashMouth did bring back some memories of college days and my first married years... and strangely reminded me of my kids as I listened to two songs from our favorite show, Shrek!
Enjoy the music. I thought I'd post some music from them for a couple of weeks. I had to post the only picture we took. Sorry, Mike and I haven't mastered the technique of taking a picture of ourselves! I'll have to hit up my teenage cousins for some hints!
Brock Turns THREE!
Wow, I can't believe my baby boy is three. It seems like yesterday we were headed to the hospital to have him. We initially named him Beck. But, after bringing him home from the hospital... it just didn't seem right. So, when he was 5 days old, I called and had it changed to Brock. "Brockie" just fits him.
If you ask Brock what his name is, he will tell you "Brockie Soup". We call him that and sadly... the kid thinks that's his name!
If you ask him what his baby sister's name is going to be, he'll tell you "Jesus". He's convinced that's what we're naming her!
Brock is definitely our moodiest child. You never know what you're going to get. He can be the sweetest little boy and the next minute he'll be slamming doors and throwing fits! We've learned to laugh. He definitely keeps us entertained!
I love when I take Tate to school and Brock will lean over in his carseat and say... "Kiss goodbye?" It is sooooo sweet. He loves his brother so much.
Happy Birthday Little Soup! We love you!

Grandma Carlene's Halloween Party

The last few years my mom has had the boys over for a "Halloween Party". They have fun painting pumpkings, making carmel apples and of course drinking Witch's Brew! Of course, us gals like eating all of mom's Shrimp Dip and gabbing! The boys have so much fun with the festivities. So much... Payton chose the party over a BYU game! Wow!
HaLLoWeeN!
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! We had fun this year! The kids of course had their school festivities. Then right after school we headed to Springville to see Ape-Daddy give out candy for work! After that we went to Grandma Cleo's for soup, a tradition that we love! Next we quickly headed to the church for "Trunk-or-Treat". Which, was really fun. We got to see all our friends dressed up! Next we went to visit the Claysons and then the Dansies. We had a fun, long Halloween! Hope you did too!
