Lagoon 2007

We had a fun trip to Lagoon. Payton is getting a little too big for the kiddie rides but not quite adventurous enough for the big rides. Tate... well, he's just Tate! He liked the cars but that's about it. Brock was game for anything, I don't think he exactly loved the rides... but he'd do it. Payton, Mason and Tate enjoyed splashing in the water fountains before we left. It was a fun outing for all of us.

Finally...We're landscaping that Hill!

Every summer it seems we have some project. But this summer... we've got lots of projects going on. Two of the major ones are we're getting new carpet throughout the house. So, we're living in a very big mess this week! Along with that we're repainting all the rooms that need it.

We're also working on the hill in our yard. We're pretty excited...it's turning out so great! We have a lot of work ahead of it. We need to get some sod and plant some bushes, flowers and trees. But, it's really starting to take shape.

It's been a real babysitter. The kids pull up their chairs to the french doors and watch all day. The first day it was probably 45 degrees outside, but that didn't stop them. The whole neighborhood enjoyed coming over to watch the work in progress. The guy who's doing it for us even let Payton help dig one day. He told us to watch for his babysitting bill! Anyway, we'll post more pictures as things progress.

Summer Swimming Lessons

Well, summer is here, so that means swimming! Payton has finally mastered swimming across the pool. I'm so happy! This was the first year that he was actually enjoying going off the diving board and the slide. Tate enjoyed watching and receiving kisses from his little gal pal, Lucy. Brock chilled by the side of the pool in his own chair. Payton took lessons with his friends Mary and Brynn.
